Small Loans With Bad Credit

I have 2 private student loans totaling around 23k with interest around 16%. They are currently with Sallie Mae (ugh) and they don’t offer consolidation anymore.

Are there any other places I can go for private student loan consolidation? I have a credit score of 570 (I know it sucks).

I’ve done searches forever and seem to find places that are scammers or for good credit.

I already applied for (and got) the Stafford loans, but they don’t cover the cost of school. Me and my parents have applied to dozens of loan companies, with all being rejections. I don’t really have anybody else who could cosign, so I don’t know how to get the loans I need to go to school.

Me and my fiance’s credit is just under 600, and I’m working on cleaning it up. I’ve just paid off 5 creditors. But it won’t effect our score for another couple of months. However, we need a home now. His work record is excellent and has worked at the same company for 15 years.
Any suggestion?
Also we are having a hard time finding an apartment that will be big enough for our big family, 4 children.
